Hi all, I am appearing for an interview of a welfare officer. I want to know what kind of questions I have to face in the interview.
The Post for the which I Applied is "Welfare officer in Hospital". It'll be held in January.
This is the first interview of my life. I know I'll get to know a lot of things from it.

Hi Ankush,

Don't ring alarm bell. Take everything in your stride. In life there is always going to be ups and downs in one's career. What's required is sincerity and hard work, application & presence of mind and little bit of luck too.

You have not mentioned what's your basic degree, qualification, training had, background etc.

Here, coming to your requirement. You have to concentrate preparing on Hospital Administration profile. Now a days almost all are available on the Net. There are useful blogs of individuals too on the subject you have to browse and prepare.

Improve on your appearance, presentation, clarity of thought and putting across your replies precisely to the questions put to you. If questions addressed are in Hindi answers also can be in Hindi. Knowledge and spoken English will be added advantage.

Learn Statutory requirements, labour laws, a Hospital has to adhered to,

contract labour regulations,

safety measures,

environmental regulations for running a hospital,

disposal of human wastages a hospital will generate

Drugs & chemicals & hazardous substances regulations

Maintenance of ambulances

Medico-legal issues-documentation of receiving & discharge of emergency & accident cases, police formalities

SOP during COVID pandemic

Though you are not expected to master all overnight, atleast you should have some knowledge on pertinent issues.
