Dear HR Professionals & Seniors,
Please help me out for some of the queries related to ESIC-
1- What is the limit of contribution for getting general treatment by individual(Employee) and their dependents,
2- What is the limit of contribution for getting treatment of critical disease by individual(Employee) and their dependents
3- If employer falls to pay ESIC contribution whether user can avail the facility or not
4- What is the maximum limit of no of days wages employee can get in case of absence from job due to illness & what would be % (50% of wages or more then that)

1. Sir, from the points you raised, it appears that you are interested in academic details of ESI Act, 1948 and rules/regulations framed therein. It will be more better, if you may please go through the ESIC website and download necessary literature/instructions on the issue as may be available in said website. The terms and conditions in order to become eligible for availing various benefits is mentioned in said website.
