I have to make HR budget for my company. Please let me know, urgently, how to go about it. What all heads will be included in it. Or if you could give me sample format for the same.

Hi,
1) Take inuts from your operations team about the man power projections.
2) Make a tentative plan for hiring and spread it over the calander.
3) Provide approximate salaries (average salaries in band) for every designation.
4) Consolidate this on a monthly basis
5) diplay the Head count and the cost on a monthly / quarterly basis and Annaully

W.r.to the heads, add a seperate coloumn for Bonus and take a approx percentage based on your previous years bonus percentage and give it as a projection.
Thus, the different heads will be compensation & bonus. The remaining expenditure like office expences etc shall can be added in the admin / finance budgets.

1. Wage-Monthly, quarterly, yearly (including of new hiring as per monthly plan)
2. Salary -Monthly, quarterly, yearly (including of new hiring as per monthly plan)
3. Bonus projection in the month of disbursement
4. OT if any
5. Uniform/Welfare fund if any
6.Hiring cost if any
7.Stationary cost.
8.Communication cost if any
9.Convienence cost if any
10.Training cost if any
11. Increment effect as per company norms.
12.Books & periodicals
13.Subscriptions (if any)
14.Feer & other expences if any
15.Licence renewal or other expenditure if comes under HR
16.Security and other expences
Hope this will help you to make budget as per your company norms.
But separate the expenditure in Monthly,Quarterly and yerarly basic for better transperency.
