Hi, What is the impact of number of unions in a company on the LTS procedure. It remains same for all or what all changes if the number is more than one. How we manage the agreement period for multiple units its please guide.

The procedure for registration of settlement is same, irrespective of number of unions. Agreement period of LTS may range from one year to generally three years. Company can enter into LTS either separately for each unit or jointly for all the units situated in the state where LTS is to be registered under Industrial Disputes Act 1947.
