Dear All,
Please find attached the draft of Payment of Gratuity Amendment Bill which aims to increase the Gratuity amount from 15 days to 30 days for every completed year of service. This means, the Gratuity liability is being doubled once the amendment comes in to force.

Dear members,
This a private(ly)member's bill introduced not either by the ruling (govt.) party or by opposition. As such there is no high hope that this bill will become a reality soon. The same subject was initiated repeatedly again and again three times. All members are requested to first go to the search menu and see whether the same subject was introduced/discussed earlier in this forum or not then proceed. This will save time of members. I appreciate your interest in the matter. I wish this should become a reality as early as possible.

I agree with Mr. Kumar. Such repeated uploading unnecessary creates confusion in the industry and the HR team members. Now Kumar has very clearly focused the status.

Dear Anonymous,
Can you be certain that this bill has been at least put to consideration of the panel of members of our parliament. Unless full details are furnished, this upload goes just for information, which may eventually lead to some sort of confusion. Pls give full details whenever and about whatever you upload...
Trust you understand this and be equally responsive for this...
Regards....

Hi all,
I understand the mistake I did by uploading this doc in to the site, there after I tried to take it back, but in vain.
I got this info from a leading consultant in South India, which they have circulated to all their member organisation, almost 1000 employers. I thought this will be a new information to cite members and hence uploaded it.
I appreciate all your views and apolgize for this error on my part. with this I hope this will be closed
