Ideas on design of this program, I would be dividing it into 2hrs and total of 6 hrs. Short modules...need to understand what is the moost recent work on coaching(model, book) and how can we guage the effectiveness.

Sachdev, look up for International Coaching Federation (ICF). There are certain concepts & coaching philosophies that can be imbibed in your module. Leadership programs use them as well.
You can give the mangers 'two factor theory' ' Theory X / Y'. Read a little about 'Birkman method' that should give you some gyan to as well :-)
