Hi, It applicable for only civil work. immediate employer will be liable to registered under bocw act. And for registration under bocw appropriate government is labour commissioner. 1% cess will be on construction cost & deducted as when bill will raised. Application made in Form 1. Thanks, Maku

Hi, As mentioned in the post its generally used for civil engineering projects and has to be submitted before 30 days of the completion of project or 30 days before the end of current financial year. The submission will depend on how your company is registered. If shops and estabilhment then you have to meet your local shop inspector and if ROC then you have to contact the ROC office for registration. Regards, AJ
