I am working in media industry. I would like to know how do we do performance appraisal of staff in graphics department? Knowing that the creativity is not measurable, it is experienced, how can we assess individual performance in a team consisting of 15-20 employees? Can anybody help me in giving some inputs related to this topic.

the performance appraisal of graphics department will b done in two part. first is individual n second is team work.
in case of individual performance we can taking in to consideration the following points ,
1) how he is make a page layout. what duration he takes for the one page and how many pages he build during the working hrs.
2 ) Generaly if the polecy is fix for the colour combination , font selection and lay out of pages. He may create 4 nos pages in a 8 hrs.but considering the commercial view he may creat only 2 nos of pages.
3 ) If ur organisation create a daily /special suppliments , in this case u can judge their performance on creativity basis because in the suppliment he can use his atmost creativity and skills to do the better suppliment.
4 ) most important thing is photo corretion, generaly photo scanning is ordnary work but correction is a special skill / task. we can judge his performance in this work.
all other things are remain unchanged during the performance.
