Sick leaves are also called as Medical leave. The employer has to provide 12 days /annum sick leaves as per the labor law act. On average, Indians receive 24 days of paid leave a year. 12 casual leaves and 12 sick leaves. Also, leave structuring is based on the company's leave policy, it may differ for each company.
