Hi Follow members, I am faced with a query where my Finance Head wants his CA logo to be part of the visiting card. Can this be done on official visiting cards?

Dear Andrea,
Other than company logo, there cannot be any other logo on the visiting card. Occasionally companies also print logo of some certifying agency or agency that does some accreditation. But then this decision has to be taken at the management level.
If Finance Head may print his CA logo on his personal card and not on official one.
Thanks,

The management should bluntly refuse if not tomorrow your legal Head wants a different logo, medical officer wants a different logo and there won't be any end for this.
Till he works for the company the business card will have only company logo.
As a HR representative you should escalate to management and also to explain the issues expected in case accepts.

A visiting card is indicative of identity of the holder of it as an employee of a particular organisation. If it bears different logos, it creates confusion in other party and it is not a good start for a meeting for business negotiation, if your employee visits him for that purpose.

A CA in practice can use the CA logo on his visiting card.
A CA working for a CA firm can use the CA logo on his visiting card.
However, a company can not put CA Logo on any visiting card of the company.
You may check the CA institute website for details of where the logo can be used and where it cant.
