Dear Citehr Member Ms Parul,
Your query on Medical Bonus is welcome. According to Section 8 of MB Act 1961 the Central Govt. is empowered to increase the amount of medical bonus every three years. The Central Govt. accordingly raised the amount from Rs.2,500/- to Rs.3,500/- vide Ministry of Labor & Employement Gazette Notification No.SO 2831(E) dated 19.12.2011. The notification is available in public domain.
Hope this may clarify your quest.
