A Very recently Government has announced that the employer share of PF contribution will be borne by the Government in respect of the new employees recruited by the employer. I need clarification whether it is applicable to all the Garment Industries or only to the newly established Companies. Also, Please let me know whether this scheme has already been implemented or still in the process.

what you said is only a news of the government. it would take years to implement. hence do not expect the government will pay the share. regarding your query on garment industry and new industry all are covered under the act.

It is a part of the incentive package announced by the government, and applies to jobs in new factories for a 3 year period. The detailed notification is awaited and should happen soon.
