Pl see the Model Standing Orders provided in the Maharashtra Rules of the Industrial employment Standing Orders Act and modify it suitably to suit your industry's requirement. This will give you a starting point or the first draft. Then you can compare such draft with the Certified Standing Orders of industries around your unit and of similar nature industries. You can try to incorporate good practices used elsewhere. You can seek expert views once a proper draft is made. It will be better to consult a Labour Law consultant as certification of Standing Order is a long drawn process and the guidance of an experienced hand is required.
