Dear Seniors,
Greetings.,
Actualy I was transfered from One Location (A) to Another Location (B); the distance is 1200 km between the Locations.
Since My Native Location (C) is not 'A'. So during the shifting my Households One part has been shifted to My Native Location (C) and aonther has been sent to B location. Then bill claimed less than maximum eligibility of my level. For ex. if eligilibility is Rs.25000, it was claimed Rs.24900/- with bill)
As per HR policy of my company '' The Family Relocation Allowance shall include travel to the Transferred Location with the Family, Cost of Temporary Accommodation, Shifting Allowances and Any other expense in Connection with the Transfer..
Then we're calculating the Max.allowances in Kilo meter based, of a transfered employee from nearest railway station of A location to nearest railway station of B location.
Is it right?
Please clear my doubts.
Thanks,
James

Well, James, the Policy States "Any other expense in connection with Transfer". Which I presume would from A to B or/and A to C, whatever you have spend as an expense due to change in location/Transfer of Job.
Please read the policy carefully. Is your company Govt Enterprise?

Thank you for the swift response sir.
No. It is private.
Any way due to my transfer only i've shifted in two ways; because this is permanant transfer. Then A is not my Native place
Distance was too long. so i decided to send one part Native location (C)which is located from (A) nearby 400Km only.
the full line of the policy,
''Family Relocation Allowance shall include travel to the Transferred Location with the Family, Cost of Temporary Accommodation, Shifting Allowances and Any other expense in Connection with the Transfer.''
Whether am i right (AtoB + AtoC=Claimed in Bill less than eligibility)?
Pls your advice.
Thanks,
James

Well James, Policy Clearly States "Allowance shall include travel to the TRANSFERRED LOCATION". Well in this case the company may dispute your claims from A to C. As C is not your "Transferred Location". The Subsequent clause "and Any other expense in connection with the Transfer" is in connection to the 'TRANSFERRED LOCATION".
I feel, the company will not accept your expense for charges "From A to C".
However, you may make a valid case with your company saying that since the distance was far and it was not feasible for you to transfer the entire house hold so you had transferred back few items to your home town; which I hope might be registered in your company records as permanent address; to be able to claim your "transfer Allowance" within the Budget allocated for the same.
Do update on final outcome.

Yes. Thanks for the clarification., Beyond the policy there may be a chance to accept tranfer the goods from A to C as my request by considering the Total distance from A to B; i.e 1200km.apprx.

At best, it is your employer’s discretion. Chances are not bright, since such exceptions will lead to more and similar 'requests' and the policy will go for a toss. Sorry for being blunt.
