Hi,
I'm a IT and presently working on the salary structure in Mumbai. Recently I have received a job offer from Abu Dhabi. The package I am entitled for is 14,000 AED p.m. I have a doubt regarding the family visa, I haven't accepted the offer yet. The information which I have received is stating the minimum Basic Salary required is of at least 5,000 AED p.m. for opting for family visa after 3 months.
The basic salary provided to me is of 3,500 AED only. Should I go ahead with this offer and plan for my family visa and there insurance which I need to pay from my pocket.
I need your help in sorting this out.

Hi Maxme, No my friend, Not at all. Basic needs to be AED5000. Besides, also ask for family status and medical cover for family. Housing, medical are two most expensive in Abu Dhabi. Ukmitra

Hi Ukmitra, They say for sponsoring wife and children, one needs to have a total salary of AED 4,000 + tenancy contract. As per the present law, one cannot sponsor residence visas for parents.

Well, as per my resource its 5000 or 6000+HRA. And for parent I guess salary must be more than 20,000. In both case you need to have a two bedroom flat an home contract approved by concerned authorities. Besides, for family residence permit, its possible, but the paper work is just too much.
You know, this is precisely the reason, I have so many employees wanting to work in saudi arabia. The rules are much relaxed and cost of living is 3/4 times cheaper than UAE. *(Abu Dhabu is most expensive city to live in Middle East).
