Dear,
submit form 25a to avail cash benefit of deceased ip along with esi card death certificate to branch office with in 6 months,if it is more than six months it has to go to regional office through branch office but it will take time,funeral expenses around rs.5000/- to nominee/legal heir.

Funeral expenses limit is Rs10000 in lump sum to defray expenditure incurred on funeral.

We are an engineering outsourcing company having office at Pune. I would like to know changed rule of ESIC & reactions of companies who are going to face it. We have ESIC contributions and since gross wages has increased to 21000 many of our employees are going to affect.
Is it compulsory for every organisation to pay ESIC?
