Hi All,
One of my friend had to leave an organization due to under performance. His team didnt perform well and hence he was asked to leave. This happened 10 years back(2006). Post that he worked in 3 other organizations.
Now my friend has applied for an organization and his BGC is in progress.
Could some one tell me, whether organizations reveal the reasons for leaving also in BGC? As per my knowledge only Employee name, Employee code, Start & End date , Designation details are provided to third party organizations who approach for BGC???

Background checks are not standard at all. Every organisation has their own criteria of conducting checks and it may differ basis roles, function etc. There is no surety whether that particular employment and other details will be touched in the Bgv or not.

Hi Annon,
Usually the last two employments are considered for back ground check.
You therefore do not have to worry.
On the other hand it would be better for you to openly discuss with the HR of the new company and openly tell him the truth. This I am sure will be much appreciated and will also put your mind to rest.
