I need to prepare Rules and regulation or Policies for our labors to be followed on the Camp(Accommodation).
Please help me if you have prepared general rules and regulations for labor Camp in Saudi Arabia.

Start preparing with entry into the work-spot and Labour camp, room allocation procedure, guidelines about usage of general & common services, safeguarding of personal belongings, timings of switching on & off of lights, optimum utilisation of common resources, reporting procedure of any untoward incidents (sick, theft, accident at camp, etc.), procedure to go out of camp on holidays and leave days, procedure to leave the camp (proper leave application, site clearance, Time Office clearance, handing over of returnable materials, passing the information in written to the camp boss/security at Labour Camp.

How to maintain the cleanliness of the Labour Camp.

Usage of Tobacco / Cigarette / Alcohol at Labour Camp.

General terms and conditions about health and hygiene, environment maintenance, switching on and off of electrical appliance, reporting procedure of any environmental / safety hazard, safe use of electrical appliances / prohibition of tampering of electrical connection, etc.

Thank you very much for providing assistance to create this procedure. I have created one, but need more elaborated one could you please help me out.

Guidelines about usage of general & common services:

General and common services like Bathroom and toilet, Use of Electricity, Water usage etc.

1. Wastage of water in Bathroom and toilet should be avoided.

2. Labors those are leaving in these rooms should maintain cleanliness of room, bathroom and toilet.

3. Air-condition and all electrical appliances should be switched off when not in use.

Safe housekeeping practices:

The principal contractor must ensure safe housekeeping practices including:

1. Appropriate, safe and clear access to and from the workplace

2. Safe systems for collecting, storing and disposing of excess or waste materials.

3. Adequate space for storing materials or plant..

4. Managing risks from protruding objects such as exposed nails or vertical reinforcing steel.

5. Providing and maintaining appropriate lighting for the work being done.

Safeguarding of Personal belongings:

Management is not responsible for labors personal belongings.

Timings of switching on & off of lights:

Lights and all electrical appliances should be off during working hours.

Optimum utilization of common resources:

Water, Electricity and food should not be wasted. Labors found guilty will be penalized for disobeying the orders.

Reporting procedure of any untoward incidents:

Labors should report immediately to their supervisors regarding unwanted incidents like Sickness of labor, theft in accommodation or site, and major and minor accidents took place in camp or accommodation.

Procedure to go out of camp on holidays or 1 day leave.

Labor staff should inform their supervisors 1 day prior to go out of camp on 1 day leave.

For long term leave labors supervisor need to coordinate with HR Department with details.

Procedure to leave the camp:

1. Proper leave application.

2. Site clearance.

3. Handing over of returnable materials.

4. Passing the information in written to the camp Supervisor, boss/security at Labor Camp.

Usage of Tobacco / Cigarette:

Usage of Tobacco and Cigarettes is strictly prohibited in site location and in working hours.
