This is Sachin Jaiswal here a new member of HR forum, we are in our organisation starting new new policies and programs,
currently we have started our new progranm as a company newsletter , in that we are coming up with the 3rd edition, now we have planned in that we will every month include the employee name as a Star of th Month .
for that can any buddy please guide me with
1) the parametre for the Star of the Month
2) what kinfd of Reward we should offer for the winner
3) any format for the same?,certificate
requesting you all as new member of this forum please don't let me down,its a bit urgent ,

Please find below my opinion:-
1) the parametre for the Star of the Month - You can indentify that through the performance every month. The star will surely shine out.
2) what kinfd of Reward we should offer for the winner - You may give a certificate and a momento (denpending on the cost that you may like to incur every month) which may be a trophy, a pen with the logo of your organization, a mug, etc.

Yu can put that employees pic on your information board ,make a star and fix dat pic in that with her name ,designation& dept.
after 3 months all the star employees you can take them for recreation.e,g movie,fun world etc.depending upon ur cost.
you can announce their name in birthday parties in yur company,there u can give the gift.
you can mail with nice quotes thru outlook xpress to all in ur company.
