One of the company being very small of 30 people has not paid the consulting fees for the candidate joined through our consulting firm. They asked for legal documents which we provided. The company does not attend our calls neither does the joined candidate attends our calls. Neither have they replied to any of the emails sent by us. We thought of taking the police and visit the company directly. But we prefer to sort out the matter calmly.
The Company refused to sign the agreement copy stating that our consulting firm was not registered. We have recently completed the registration process and sent them the Certificate of Incorporation as a proof of our registration. But the company does not attend our calls, neither the candidate does. Please suggest what can we do to get the cheque from this company.

Send them a notice on email as a formality.
You have the communication on email to proof the candidate is yours. Send them that.
Then you need to spend 1000 for legal charges as you would need to send them Notice Through Lawyer.
Remember you can recover the payment within 3 years. Don't be rude if the candidate is on warranty period, else the company can terminate the candidate and refuse to pay .
You can charge compensation to the company for mental harassment, G/W loss , Legal expanses.
Try this once. It will work out . send the mail to HR department , A/c Department , Management along with Founder of company.

Kindly don't... the idea of this community is not to call out companies but to figure out if anything can be done when situations like these arise.
Raising the company name simply attracts libel issues and does not add any value to the knowledgebase for the community.

Company is not paying consultation Fees:

I worked with a company as Management/ administrative consultant for 7 years. Issue of Formal agreement was delayed by company continuously on Trust ground and promises were given that arrears would be given to me from retrospective effect whenever final amount is decided. I was paid fixed monthly amount similar to salary. I have proof of all payments and witness of colleagues/outside professionals with whom I dealt as the conclusive Evidence of my working for a company. After 7 years I decided to discontinue and so claimed final accumulated dues. Company did not reply any mail communication, neither attended my phone calls. What legal remedy I have in my case ? It is case of both payment default and fraud.
