Hi, Is it limited to paper formalities only or you want to introduce some training on company procedures too? Can you describe in detail, what is the exact scenario there?

thnku Mr. Joshi for replying. yes training procedures are there but its with respective division. Hr dept has just to hand over the employee to respective dept and they will take care of the training themselves. i have to prepare a formal structure for induction process.

First make a list of all Departments. Ask all HODs to prepare a brief Presentation on their department, people, activities and importance of their department. This should be used by them for presenting to the new candidates when they arrive.
As and when an employee joins make a schedule for him to visit all the departments. Inform the HODs and the candidate about the same and at the end of the Induction ask him to give a feed back on the same. ALso have a final session preferably with the Company's head.
Prepare a feedback format and if the candidate makes any suggestions consider them if feasible.:icon11::mellow:

the induction plan wud depend on the frequency of hiring in your organisation.... if it is done throughout the 'er then i think the best way wud be as stated by radsure bt if it happens only twice or thrice in a 'er then the program can be more formalised. it cud be a 2 day / 3 day program wherein you can chalk out a schedule for the program .. here you can include introductory sessions with the key ppl of respective depts.. as well as some small exercises and activities for introduction of the inductees with each other..

Hi,
Sorry for late reply; I‘m just back from weekend holidays :icon6:.
Here is my opinion for the query..
I think training by associated department is a good process considering their expertise in that particular area. However you can think of having feedback forms from the trainer and trainee so as to keep centralize records. In addition you may ask HODs to submit their PPT of training (as wrote by “radsure”) in which you would rectify the errors and can add a common training module, related to the organization, its HR policies, and other things you would like to.
Let me know if you need anymore assistance..
