Now as and when we required we hire labor on a cash voucher. In this case are we liable for PF or ESIC for labor to whom we hire on cash voucher? Please guide...

@Nrupal When number and attendance is confirmed of workers, all applicable contributions are applicable, irrespective of mode of payment

ask your principal employer, that if there is any fatal accident during these two-four days, then the principal employer would take responsibility or not?
Generally at form 12/13 they ask the ESIC and EPF UAN before issue of entry pass

My suggestion is that if you have labour contractor in your establishment you may think of hiring these employees through the contractor to ensure that social compliance like PF and ESI and also in case of any accidents the contractor would handle these issues
If you continue to pay by cash voucher you need to deduct PF and ESI
