No adult worker should work for more than 9 hours/ day. No period of work should exceed 5 hours without a half an hour rest.The total spread over of working hours and rest should not exceed 10.5 hours per day.

Average working hours in a week should not exceed 48 hr a week. Incase it exceeds then an Overtime needs to be paid OT cannot be for more then 3 hrs and this should include break. On a given day the a person should not work more then 10.50 hrs and this has to have breaks, no continious working should exceed 5 hr. So for a 5 day working week the per day working will be 9 hr including breaks and for 6 day working week it will be 8 hr including break.

Dear My Organisation is Engineering we give a one holiday in week so how many working hours be required that means 8 or 9 We have take 9hr is it correct as per Factory act?
