Kindly suggest computer generated register copies are accepted by labour officers or not
In brief -
If we maintain all Labour Registers under Bombay Shop & Establishment Act as a computer generated copy & taken print for the same which is dully sign by all employees in our Eng. Company can be accepted by the Labour Officer or we need to made manual reg with handwritten copy which normally inspected by the officers as it is not possible to maintain on yearly basis for employee strength almost 2-3 thousand.

You've raised a serious problem that almost all companies are facing. Recently I finished the labour inspection held at my company & to my surprise they did not accept the soft copies generated from software. I do not understand why but in such era laws should support.
