I worked in SAIL from Apr 79 to Oct 98, resigned my job, withdrew PF from them. Then I joined M&M in Nov 98 , worked till Oct 2009 , resigned from that job and withdrew my PF from them. Later I joined XXX Agrawal & Co in Nov 2009 and worked till Mar 2014. Received my PF from this employment also.
When I sent form 10 D for claiming my EPF pension, they rejected my request stating that I have done only 4.5 years service with them and I am not eligible as I am not ticking the 10 year service period required to claim pension. They did not get convinced when I told them that they need to look at my total length of service only and not the last stint only. I want some clarity in this issue please. Thanks.

Dear Member, SAIL EPF & EPS Withdrawn? or only EPF?
M&M EPF & EPS Withdrawn? or only EPF?
XXX Agrawal & Co EPF & EPS Withdrawn? or only EPF?
If you have already withdrawn only EPF, You should have received Scheme Certificate in lieu of EPS

Dear Srinath Sir, I withdrew my EPF only from SAIL, resigned that job and joined M & M, worked for 11 years there , resigned that job , withdrew my EPF. But I am getting pension from M & M. I joined GA worked only for 4.5 years and left. I was told by GA that since I had not put up 10 years with them, I am not eligible to get the EPS. Now I want to know whether I am eligible or not from my services in these companies. Kindly advise sir. Thanks.

you are surely eligible to get pension from M & M. Go to the respective PF office in that area and inquire about pension for that particular EPS account.
