hello everyone, there are very few rural BPOs in India as its a concept still developing. As per the conventions there should be minimal attrition in these BPOs but then they do have it. so lets discuss as to what could be the reasons for the attrition and how should it be controlled.

It was discussed recently in a newspaper (the topic was, why BPOs r not running successfully in RURAL areas) , i dont remember most reasons , but whatever i remember i will post.
Most people dont like the idea of shifting to a rural place from metro / big cities.
Problem of getting experienced , skilled manpower, the difference in thinking ,
attitude of rural and metro.. ppl..

YA thats true, but the basic idea behind this rural BPO is to provide employment to the rural people and big companies like Satyam and Lason have gone for it with the idea of CSR as well but then the matter of concern is, if these rural ppl are being given an alternate employment solution at their door step y do they quite?

Basic idea of setting up BPO in rural areas, is less cost, than in metros and very very few rural ppl would be elgible to be employed in RURal BPOs,,,,
The ppl who quit in rural BPO are not from rural areas, de are from urban areas and who dont like their stay in rural areas , as de prefer city to village, Malls to general stores and so on,,, etc etc etc.
