Dear HR Team, One of my employees wants to take maternity leave. She joined us one year back and her performance is good her salary is Rs.45,000 per month + Incentives (approx. 20k-30k per month). But due to pandemic crises, we are not able to pay 4-6 month salary to her during her pregnancy. We are private ltd. company and registered with ESIC and PF also.
Is there any chance to save our organization's 4-6 month salary?

No. You should pay salary at the same rate at which she was paid just before her leading to maternity leave. You can do one thing, pay her salary alone without any incentive of any payout by way of reimbursement. In your post, if the salary is Rs 45000, you should pay it without compromise.
