Very useful and well-explained PPT this...thanks.
As far as I am aware, all ATMs in India are mandatorily required to have a security guard round the clock. So the incident shown in the PPT would probably niot apply to Indian ATMs, but I might be wrong...just guessing here.
In any case, the biggest point to remember while using an ATM is -"NEVER NEVER NEVER DISCLOSE YOUR PIN TO ANYBODY". Even if somebody shows the bank's ID or any other verification sign, never ever tell him your PIN. Use the phonebanking service to talk to your bank, and then wait for them to help.
