Hi Pavithra,
Before you plan to do SAP Certification, it is advisable to have initial idea about what is SAP HCM and what components play an important role in HCM and how the total SAP implementation goes on.
When you register with any of the SAP Education partners for Certification in a week's time they provide you E-Learning user Id which is mandatory to go thru it before you actually start your 1 st day of classroom trg.
That knowledge will really help you to understand the topics and flow of the content in the first week of classroom trg. If you just simply go and sit in the class without any prior knowledge in SAP HCM and start learning the meaning of SAP HCM on the first day of trg, then you have to undergo lot of struggle to understand the concepts in the first week though they are treated as Master data configuration basics.
As you are well aware that the total duration of certification programme will be for 4 weeks, you need to plan your preparation accordingly to get certified in the first attempt.
In the latest version ECC 6.0 EHP5, the pass % is 57% and out of 80 questions in the exam almost half of the questions are single answer questions. Sometimes, they also give the screenshot of any topic ( i.e Ad-hoc query in Reporting etc) and may ask you what is the answer.
So your exam preparation should be very well planned then only you can easily crack the puzzle. As per the latest pattern, they are giving good weightage to E-Learning where you may get around 8-10questions. So dont neglect that topic.
In all the 4 weeks curriculam the main focus is on the conceptual clarity of each topic along with some idea abt the practical configuration as they also insist on some configuration oriented scenarios.
