Hi,

You messaged me for warning letter but now asking for Termination letter?

While terminating an employee you need to follow proper disciplinary process and just like that an employee cannot be asked to go out !

If the Termination is on the base of poor performance, what action was initiated to improve the performance of the employee ?

Whether the performance issue is discussed with that particular employee ?

Whether any previous oral warning or warning letter issued advising the employee to improve the performance ?

To prepare a Termination letter all above details are required. You cannot directly terminate an employee saying that performance is poor.

Alternatively if you are very keen to terminate the employee on poor performance grounds discuss with the employee about this and explain that termination might spoil his /her career and future employment opportunities. Encourage the employee the submit resignation so that you can relieve the employee. Though this is not a right practice at least you can do this as a favor to employee.

If employee is on probation period, you may do so. Even in probation, you have to give an opportunity or alert to improve performance. You have to build up record before proceeding for termination of employment.
