Pls. let me know , is there any process to correct employee's personal data( like: name, father's name, DOB etc.) in PF portal online . I am in HR of a private company , we have submitted joint applications along with the proofs to PF office for data correction since last 6 months for some of our employees , but no result . Pls. help me .

Dear Ms Chumki,
Changes in name & father name can't be made once registered. However, part of name can be change on submission of proof and required documents. The process is being done only by the PF Dept, you can't make any changes online so you should take up case with concern authorities i.e PF Commissioner to take call on your matter.

for change in DOB, the valid documents are 1) birth certificate 2) SSC certificate ( any one), and the office may ask the person to show the original certificate to bypass the verification by concerned issuing authority.
You can initiate the process for changing personal details by submitting the attached joint declaration form to PF Office. Regards, Manish
