IN PENSION SCHEDME 1995 i COMPLETED 19 YEARS . & BEFORE PENSION C=SCHEME MY SERVICE IS 13 YEARS . mY bASIC SALARY IS 12550 RS AT PRESENT kINDLY CONFIRM HOE MUCH MONTHLY PENSION I WILL RECEIVED . Dear Stephen,
I cannot follow your calculation of PF. You have taken the full service for pension calculation. Actually, his pensionable service is 19 years, ie, from Nov, 1995, the date on which the pension scheme was introduced to July 2014, the date of attaining 58 years of age.
Again, the pension is not calculated on the entire salary that he was drawing at the time of retirement or average of the same for the last one year as you have taken, but it is restricted to Rs 6500 wherever, the PF qualifying salary is more than 6500. (Since Sept 2014, this has become Rs 15000) Therefore, the pensionable salary should be taken as Rs 6500 and not Rs 12550. The pension will be Rs 1764. Since he had a past service of 13 years, he will get a past service benefit calculated as per a separate schedule for this. This will be around Rs 400.

Shaaaameee on the age old britishers time calculations ... A person doing soooooo many years day and night will hardly get 1500 to 1900 rs as pension which is not even sufficient to get one gas cylender in a month... Than what matti he will eat in his old age if he survives with his spouse.. What amount he will spend on his treatments ... Whereas our dirty politicians who serve just 5 years were provided excellent benefits till his death...shaaaaaaammmmeeee on these dirty politicians, they are just supporting dirty corporates by taking crores of crores party funds by sucking we poor employees....shaaaammmeee if we employees just shut our mouth and allow to suck our blood these dirty politicians & corporates have no curtesy even to sell our blood and make crores out of it
