Please tell me what is the difference between gas cylinder rules of 1981 and 2004?

However if your cylinders are in a manifold then it is OK else you have to get License from Department of Explosives.
Attached is the photo of such LPG manifold which does not require any License.
Pl revert back in case any more details are required.

Dear Nandini,
If you are storing more than 100kgs of LPG (more than 5 Cylinders) you need licence from controller of EXplosives.
If you connect to a manifold you don't need a licence. But you need to comply with BIS standard for storage/ manifold safety requirements
