Last week ESIC officer and Inspector visited one of our delhi branch office(Rohini) and asked us for apply ESIC Sub Code of Rohini branch. But we already have ESIC Code of Delhi Region(Headoffice). So is it compulsory to get registered our another branch in delhi.

Hello
ESIC Act is applicable to each establishment separately. However, there is no need to apply for a sub code for one city till the Branch office is same for all your branches.
Anyway, i have personally failed to understand to create apply for subcodes in same city as it solves no purpose. Since the request has come from the ESIC authorities themselves, it is prudent to approach them requesting to accommodateyour Delhi employees under one code only.
Do let us know further developments on this

Hi Anisha Mittal,
As per ESIC Act, if you are covered under same Regional office you no need to take any sub-code, you can update all covered employees in your main code, make the contributions and show the registers when ESIC Inspector visit in your office.
