1. In an organization, who is eligible to contribute towards LWF?

2. If someone earns more than 15,000 but is still in the Worker cadre, should they contribute?

3. If someone in the Managerial cadre earns more than 15,000, should their contribution be deducted?

4. If an employee leaves the organization, for example, in July, should I deduct from their F&F and pay in January?

5. If I am only eligible to avail of the benefits from LWF if my salary is below 25,000, why do I have to contribute if I earn more than 25K and am not eligible to avail of any of those benefits?

Kindly clarify all my above doubts, please.

In India, the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) is a statutory contribution that aims to provide social security benefits to laborers. Here are the clarifications to your queries:

1. Eligibility to Contribute:
- All employees falling under the LWF regulations in New Delhi are generally required to contribute, irrespective of their cadre or salary level.

2. Worker Cadre Earning Over 15,000:
- If an employee in the Worker cadre earns more than 15,000, they are still required to contribute towards LWF as per the regulations.

3. Managerial Cadre Earning Over 15,000:
- Similarly, employees in the Managerial cadre earning more than 15,000 are also expected to contribute to the LWF fund.

4. Deductions from Full & Final Settlement:
- When an employee leaves the organization, deductions for LWF contributions should be made from their Full & Final settlement as per the applicable laws and paid accordingly.

5. Contribution vs. Benefit Eligibility:
- Even if an employee's salary exceeds 25,000 and they are not eligible to avail of LWF benefits, they are still required to contribute as mandated by the law.

It's crucial to comply with the legal requirements regarding LWF contributions to ensure adherence to labor laws and provide social security benefits to employees.
