Hi, Please explain me the actual meaning of CTC. Is the employer’s share of contribution to PF included in the total CTC of an employee?

Hi Aditi Yes. Now a days the trend has changed. PF contribution of both EE & ER are part of CTC. In CTC there are even other coponents like graduity, Bonus, LTA & even ESI if applicable :)

Dear Aditi, as per my knowledge CTC is cost to the company, whatever cost company is spending on you. and remaining as per above explaination. virashree

CTC stands for Cost to Company. Its is the amount of cost company spending on you - This includes your Basic Pay, HRA, DA, Coveyance Allowance, Bonus/Incentive Amount etc. If this is in respect of salary break-up, the employer's contribution is not included in the employees salary/CTC.
