Compensatory off are employer specific. In normal course when an employee work on holiday or beyond stipulated hours they will be entitled to compensatory off. Eligibility criteria will be different from company to company. Also generally in many Companies Managers will not be eligible for compensatory off as they stretch and work based on role and responsibility and they will be compensated with higher salary and other benefits.
