I Am working in a Facility Management Services Company.
We are providing Nearly 800 contract labours To our clients .
We had take CLRA License for those case which Exceeds 20 C.L
Other Than That there is any License to take....
My Friend told that u Need to take License for that 800 Employees & You Can Engage C.L Employees in all over Tamil Nadu...
what to do ...

Hi Buddy,
It is tough question for me to answer your question however as far as my knowledge goes there is no any state wide license available under the act therefore you have to take license for those cases where you employing 20 or more contract workers to your clients.

Hi,
Contract Labour licences are issued every site wise. If you are providing 800 employees to different clients at different sites, then licenses has to be taken for respective sites provided that you are providing more than 20 employees at that site. If you are providing less than 20 employees at any site, you don't required to take license for that site.

Each principal employer who avails contract services with manpower more than 20 employees on contract ,the CL License needs to be procured. It becomes clear as every employer has to provide Form V duly filled for the purpose.Therefore It is applicable to all such sites where employees more than 20 are working under contract.
