Please tell, who can approach the labor court? Who can file RTI? Who comes in the labor category? What is the salary slab limit of the employees who can file RTI?

---

In order to approach the labor court, individuals typically need to be employees or workers who have a dispute or grievance related to their employment. This could include issues such as unfair dismissal, wage disputes, or violations of labor laws.

---

Regarding filing an RTI (Right to Information) application, any Indian citizen can file an RTI to seek information from government departments or public authorities. The purpose of RTI is to promote transparency and accountability in the functioning of government organizations.

---

Employees who fall under the labor category are those individuals who are engaged in manual, skilled, unskilled, technical, operational, or clerical work. These employees are typically covered under labor laws and regulations to ensure their rights and welfare are protected.

---

There is no specific salary slab limit for employees who can file an RTI. As mentioned earlier, any Indian citizen, irrespective of their salary level, can file an RTI application to request information from government bodies. This right is provided under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Dear member,

Through this thread, you have raised a number of issues, and I think it will be difficult to answer them briefly. It will be better if you go through the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and also the provisions relating to the establishment of the Labour Court and its jurisdiction. After studying the provisions of the above Acts, you may please raise any issues pertaining to your doubts so that other members can offer their opinions accordingly.

I would like to inform you that the RTI is a separate enactment and has no relevance to the Labour Court. However, Labour Courts fall under the category of "public authority," and information can be sought from Labour Courts under the RTI Act, 2005.

Furthermore, any citizen of India can seek information from a public authority under the RTI Act, 2005, on any subject, whether it relates to them or not, if it falls under the category of "information" as defined under the said Act and does not fall under the category of "exemptions" as laid down under the same Act.
