I worked in a Noida based BPO company for 30 months. While leaving I gave a one month notice to the TL of my process and asked him to acknowledge the same. He said that he did not have the authority to sign on the resignation letter. And he said that he had already forwarded it to the concerned manager.
I followed up this issue many times and every time, the TL used to say that the concerned manager was busy or on leave. And every time he used to say “Don’t worry. You will get acknowledgement receipt”.
One month passed and I left the company. After 4 months I requested the HR people to sign the PF withdrawal form, but they refused. They are asking me to clear my account by giving one month salary as they didn’t get my resignation letter one month in advance.
How may I get my PF without paying one month salary to the CHOR company?

hmm.....What does u'r PL/TL say ?
Does he deny taking this up with the HR that u've already submitted your resignation letter ? Incase he denies, do you have a proof of the resignation sent that says you have already submitted the resignation a month in advance?
Do you know if they(co.) submit the PF amount of employees with RPF ? If yes, you can check the balance of your PF with them (against ur PF A/C no.) and see if it has actually been submitted.- I doubt if they are following the rules effectively.
If you have a proof that you have submitted resignation, it would be helpful to you in fighting for u'r PF amout .Else would be a problem.
It's very Imp that one has a proof that they have informed their resignation to their Mgr and keep HR in the loop. Send an e-mail of u'r resignation letter to u'r Mgr and copy HR on it. By this u have a proof of it.

Greets,
I don't have any proof as I submitted hard copy and TL has already left that company.
How may I check the balance of my PF?
And how may I verify whether it has actually been submitted/deposited by the company?

If your last co. was registered with PF office then they are liable to submit the returns and all that as per the legal obligation.
For this you can ask the (PR officer) at pf office with the proper co. name they will help you out in the case. Because you should know about the co. PF code first then you can get your account no.
I'm sure you know u'r PF a/c no. as it is shown on u'r monthly payslip.
If you have the proper name (registered name ) then you can find the code from net also.
google-epfo-knwo about your pf status-other entries.
Hope this helps.
