Regarding engaging women employees in Night shift, there was a Judgement delivered in Chennai High Court in 2000s. You can refer LLN in this regard. There are elaborate guidelines for engaging women in night shift timings against the provisions of Factories Act in the Judgement and some of the provisions can be considered for IT industry, if there are no separate rules applicable IT.
