Dear All, Looking forward to your view on basic salary restructuring as per min wages and new wage code.
The current Salary is 100000 CTC P.M.
Basic is 60000 P.M. (Min Wages 16500) PF Contribution on 15000. i.e 1800
My query is
Can we reduce the current basic to match the Wage code?
Can we reduce current basic to as per minimum wages?

The wages code does not match with your query : Can we reduce the current basic to match the Wage code? (Salary is 100000 CTC P.M. Basic is 60000 P.M. (Min Wages 16500) PF Contribution on 15000. i.e 1800).
There is no provision under wage code to amend the wages paid at higher rate but where it is paid less to be complied as per minimum wages.
