First U have to make the format for carrer planning.
then you can start for this.
I dont you which performance appraisal system you are using & what parameters.
If you are using acc to their behaviour/self appprisals.
if you have parameters like
Avg/gOOD/vERY gOOD/os LIKE THIS
First you have to see the parameters on what behalf you want to make a carrer plan.
It is not an easy task.
bec to retain an employee in organisation from motivation point of view very difficult.
but dont worry very thing in this world is not difficult if you havr decided to do.
first see which employee is the most crucial for us if he leaves than the organization suffers, then you can make his carre plan.
you have to sit with that employee & tel him about his carrer plan.
you have to show him at present where he is standing & after 3 to 4 years where he wants.
you have to very truly with your employee & make sure he will tell u all the things very frankly.
If he has some hesitation about this u cant help him.
