Hi, I am Shiva.. A B.Sc graduate, I have worked in 3 companies in 2 years for short period of time in each.. Due to CTC increase I frequently hopped from one to other which has become a problem for me now. "Unstable" so I am finding it difficult to get a new job.
I will write the employment details for all 3 companies. First company : An E-Publishing company, Designation : Image researcher, I worked just for a span of 4 months, CTC: 12000. I moved to the next company because of pay rise and I did not serve any notice period, so no relieving letter.
Second company : A media company, Marketing Consultant, 5 months, 16000. I had to resign as it was a startup company and I did not get my salary properly and last month I got nothing. But I got the relieving letter. It took me more than 2 months to join the next.
Third company : Marketing executive, 7 months, 22000. I resigned due to target oriented job, damn hectic job, I realise now that I should not have quit there. But at that point of moment, in frustration I quit without even informing the company. So no relieving letter.
After that I tried in many companies, I couldn't get a job anywhere due to stability issues. So I decided to lie, I created fake experience letters mentioning only 2 companies, that I worked in one company for 1 year and other for 10 months. Now I am getting an opportunity, but I fear what if I fail in my BGC verification. I am sure this company does a serious bg check, if it fails is there any chances that I can be blacklisted?
And how can I get a proper job without cheating like this, Please help me seniors as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Shiva

Hi Shiva,
First and foremost, withdraw your application from company that your faked experience. You don't know what trouble you are calling for. Its a criminal offence. I had in some previous citehr cited an example, wherein for instance, "You are admitted in a hospital for treatment and the doctor there had got the job just as you are trying with faked certificate; you can well imagine what will be your fate if he treats you".
Having said that, you must understand that hoping jobs a common phenomena in 21st century. And I am also a product and parcel of this virus spreading in our generation gene. And the reason for this is our "wish to become super rich and have a comfortable life style as fast as we can. "FASTER" is the norm. And the fact is almost of 90% of population are not rich. Besides the super rich 10% unwillingness to share their wealth to downline staff has been the major cause for the same, besides, governmental attitude towards these issues. Many articles have been written on this subject.
Well, in your case, it good that within 2yrs of your job experience you have got the "good counsel" to understand that you need to stabilize. Don't worry. within this 2 year you have understood now what your like and what you don't.
Focus on a job that you now like and target jobs on salary that would make your current needs fulfilled. You need to take that study, and what is your need and ofcourse save money. This will give you an idea on your target job salary. But this should not stop you from asking high salary. But always let the company offer what best they can offer and then negotiate. On your experience, don't shy on mentioning them. For Companies where you left them soon, have a diplomatic response "I joined with lots of hope and career aspiration. But after few months we both realized, we didn't match. And so I am still hunting for my dream Job". Buddy, meantime, have an answer for your "Dream job".
Good Luck.

You have already received sound advice to withdraw the application with FAKE experience. One lie leads to another and you will end with a chain of lies to hide the first one. Please remember the adage "Moving stones gather no moss." Similarly, job hopping frequently for increased CTC without doing a proper investigation about a firm and/or our likes and dislikes leads to not gaining any experience or happiness. However, lingering on in a job where we do not learn or enjoy also leads to depression, etc.
