We are planning to have a smile & greet day in our organisation so we need to conduct various activities in that week so can any one suggest me some good & creative activities on that week, so we the HR can make our employees to motivated and be happy in their work.....

Hi Brijesh..
For Smile and Great day event you can go for following creative activities
1) Add-made show, where in you give any products to them and ask them to make a jingle or advertise that product with in 5 mins.
2) you can organise group activites so that team spirit can be increased
3) one minute only: where in you can give radom topic and they have to speak on that topic..
4) Day's celebration: divide your employees in team and ask them to wear attires belonging to different community. i mean each team represent different cultures..

first let me congratulate you on this great idea 'smile & greet' day. it's a good way to instituionalise the practice of smile and greet. Here are a few ideas you can think of to publicise this idea during the week.
1. put posters with some corporate jokes (take care they donot offend anyone or any position in particular)
2. Put some blank chart papers on the walls with markers hanging by the side, inviting people to make humourous comments and share their feedback on the idea itself, ideas for popularising this idea etc
3. distibute pocket cards with some inspiring quotes with the 'sign & greet' signature/ same can be done at canteen or lunchrooms with tent cards on table
4. have some competitions which have 'fun & greet' focus: for instance 'greedy greeter' for the one who has greeted the most; hilarious greeter, humble greeter, gregarious greeter etc.
I have just thrown some ideas off the hat, probably at least one or two could be practicable in your context.

thanks a lot for the ideas, yes Bharath some of the ideas whic u had given we already planned and we are giving badges to all tghe employees in the organisation, we planned for a talk by Psychologist .. showing funny documentary,poster competion,skit, etc etc....

we have some social responsibility. so my suggestions are
- give away some books, sweets to the school children
- go to some orphange and distribute fruits,sweets, spend some time time with them
- visit old age home and do the same
see the smile comes on thier faces. it is worth so much
