Hi, I work in third party payroll and work on client training requirements. Recently my boss is creating pressure for returning to base. Due to COVID 19 situation I am in my home town. I have shared my current challenges and probable solution & I have also mailed that searching for good PG. I will return at the earliest.
During work from home, I have duly discharged all my duties & commitment 100%.
Now the boss is anyhow trying to convince his senior that my junior is not reporting base intentionally. Besides this also creating multiple silly instances like using Gmail id in professional mail where they are trying to honey trap and creating a situation of notice or termination letter. Can I sue my employer Kindly suggest

Dear friend,
The option of WFH is not right to be exercised by the employee at will. Though some of you/them are permitted for convenience or due to ill health etc to WFH even before the COVID pandemic it does not vest in you an automatic discretion whether to go ahead with WFM or return to base. Many of persons like you increasingly returning to base though some establishments wish to continue due to advantages inherent with it. In your case, since you are already on warrant to report to the base and defying would be treated as insubordination & indiscipline. You'll have no defendable option to remain at home. Reconciling to the situation it warrants is expected of a prudent employee. With strict observations of precautionary SOP as how to manage the pandemic one can safely attend office. Suggest don't be adamant on this, seek pardon and return to office as has been noticed by your bosses so that you avert harming your assessment. The Boss is always right.
