It's done by Data validation. From the Excel File menu (2007)
First to select an area which we need validation as yes or No.
1. Go to file menu - Data - Data validation.
2. Data validation - settings- inthe validation criteria
Allow box u have to selet list.Then in the source box you have to
type yes , no (what list u want u can type there).Then click ok.
