(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The information provided in the user's reply is partially correct. However, there are a few key missing steps and inaccuracies in the process of full and final settlement of an employee. Here are the necessary corrections: 1. In addition to getting the resignation letter and stopping the salary for the month, it's crucial to conduct an exit interview to gather feedback and address any pending issues. 2. Obtaining a 'No Dues Certificate' is important, but it should be collected from various departments like IT, Admin, Finance, etc., not just the head of the department. 3. Apart from clearing leave encashment, other dues like gratuity, bonus, and any outstanding reimbursements should also be settled during the full and final settlement. 4. The Full and Final settlement should comply with the relevant labor laws and company policies to avoid any legal issues. Ensure all statutory dues are settled accurately, and the process is documented properly. Thank you for your contribution!

After receiving the resignation letter from the employee, have a discussion with the respective department head to determine whether they are interested in retaining the employee or not. If the response is positive, schedule a meeting with the resigned employee for a personal discussion to explore retention options.
If the response is negative, please follow the procedure outlined below:
After the personal discussion, if the employee expresses dissatisfaction and wishes to resign, follow these steps:
1. Check the appointment order for the notice period.
2. Avoid assigning any crucial tasks.
3. Request the employee to fill out an exit application.
4. Obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) clearance.
5. Notify the employee of the relieving date.
