Hi,

I am working at a construction company located in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. I would like to know the applicability of the Labor Welfare Fund (LWF) in Rajasthan. If it applies, could you please provide information on the contribution shares for employees and employers, the submission deadline, the deposit location, and the payment method?

Please help!

Thanks,
Deepak

(Fact Checked)-The Labor Welfare Fund is applicable in Rajasthan. The contribution is typically shared between the employer and employee. Contributions, submission dates, and deposit locations vary. It's advisable to consult the Rajasthan Labor Welfare Fund Act and relevant notifications for detailed compliance requirements. Hi,

We are registered under the Haryana Shops & Establishment Act, and we have contractual employees working in different states such as Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, etc. Do I need to deduct LWF for them and submit LWF in their state or in our state, i.e., Haryana?

(Fact Checked)-The Labour Welfare Fund applicability is determined by the specific state laws. For employees working in different states, LWF should be deducted and submitted as per the respective state regulations, not the state of registration. (1 Acknowledge point)

  • Hi,

This is to inform you that the Labour Welfare Fund Act is a state Act and you are required to implement it according to the state Act and Rules. You are to deduct and deposit Labour Welfare Fund contributions with the Haryana Labour Welfare Board only for those employees who are working at Haryana sites. For others, you are to deduct LWFC keeping in view the respective state Acts.
