Respected members,

I have to conduct a program on Organizational Cognition. I would be highly obliged if I could get some material regarding ORG COG (ppts, docs, pdfs). Since the program starts on the 20th of this month, immediate help is required. Looking forward to your assistance.

Hi Devesh,

Please explain what Organization Cognition means! I have a literal understanding of this term, and hence I am not sure what you mean by it. It'll be great if you can elaborate on it a bit (I am not that good with jargon!).

Once you have explained it, I may be in a position to help you!

Dear Kenneth,

As far as I have read on the Google search itself, organizational cognition (org cog) is no longer a jargon in this fast-changing world. Individuals must update their cognition to face the dynamic world. Therefore, in this era of uncertainty and growing complexity, organizations also need to realign their cog according to the needs of future challenges. Many psychologists are working in this area. This is what I understood by reading some of the articles. The rest is upon you and the gamut of learned people around.

Hi there,

I am attaching a PowerPoint presentation here on organizational politics and cognitive behaviors. I downloaded it from the internet, from some site, as you desperately needed it. It is not my own creation, just a downloaded raw copy. It is a bit high on language and a bit difficult to understand, but it may be of some use to you.

Hey,

After trying to understand, I thought it best to send you some articles and info on things related to this topic. Some of them also have the term "organizational cognition" in them.

Dear Kenneth and Anupama,

Thanks to both of you for your efforts. Now, I could get a lead for this program. In the future, too, please forward if you find anything on ORG-COG directly. I assure you to post whatever I prepare for this program. Thanks a ton!

Dear Annupamaa and Kenneth,

Thank you very much for your sharings. I believe this is one of the most informative materials I have come across recently, which took me through a nice journey of experiential thoughts. I am a trainer and an aspiring OD consultant, and these materials definitely constitute strong foundations to build upon. Thanks, Devesh, for leading them to contribute :)

Long live our association...

Happy working!
